Men and Women Still Disagree on How Long You Should Wait Before You Have Sex With Someone
I thought that in the era of the casual hook-up, men and women would start to converge on how long you should wait before you have sex with someone. And they’d both arrive on . . . “Eh, probably, like, the fourth date or something.”
But a new survey by “Glamour” found there’s still a divide on how long to wait. The most common answer from men was “after about three dates” . . . the most common answer from women was “after we’re officially a couple.”
But the survey found men and women DO agree on a lot of the OTHER big steps in a relationship.
Both said you should introduce the other person to your friends after one to five dates, and to your family after you make things official.
Both said you should exchange keys when it feels right.
And both men and women said you should live together before you get engaged.
How long do you think you should wait before you have sex with someone if you are considering getting into a relationship with that person?
