I don’t ever talk about my ‘mother’. The reason for this is because I didn’t have a mother. My father did his best to raise me and my sisters. The only memory I have of my ‘mother’ was her red nail polish and long hair… probably when I was 2 years old. This is one of the very few photos I have of her. I’ll tell you more details about my ‘birth mother’ another day. But I do believe, no matter what the situation was, all mothers should be celebrated… so for today, in celebration of Mother’s Day this weekend, here’s a photo of her on her wedding day.
