The ketogenic diet is a very low-carb, high-fat diet that offers many health benefits. Over 20 studies show that this type of diet can help you lose weight and improve health.
It involves drastically reducing carbohydrate intake, and replacing it with fat. The reduction in carbs puts your body into a metabolic state called ketosis. When this happens, your body becomes incredibly efficient at during fat for energy.
There are variations to what you eat on this diet. This is the plan JV’s brother, who is a MMA fighter, suggests.

– Ground Flax Seed
– Turmeric
– Cayenne Pepper (Red Pepper)
– MCT Oil (Coconut Oil)
– Kerrygold Unsalted Grass Fed Butter
– Eggs (2-3/day/person)
– Avocado (1/day/person)
– Organic Chicken Breast
– A solid vegetable like asparagus
– Butternut Squash or Sweet Potato

Butter Coffee (Blend)
16oz Coffee
2 Tbsp Unsalted GF Butter
1 Tbsp MCT Oil
Green Drink (Blend or Shaker Cup)
1 Scoop Wheat Grass
1 Tbsp Ground Flax Seed
2 Shakes Turmeric
1 Shake Cayenne
Snack:
Avocado (Raw or)
Cubed
